El clima es miserable. El día comenzó frío y ventoso. Entonces comenzó a llover. En éste día deprimente, es más agradable de leer que andar en bicicleta.
Estoy compartiendo algunas fotos tomadas en otros días de mi bête noire, el puente empinado de Palm City que cruza la bifurcación sur del río St. Lucie en Martin Downs Boulevard (714). Camino/monto mi bicicleta a través de este puente en el lado norte para usar la pasarela peatonal segura.
En el lado este del puente hay un sendero debajo del puente para evadir el tráfico de Martin Downs Boulevard. Por un lado, debe caminar a través de la hierba que podría estar embarrada si ha llovido recientemente, pero la hierba generalmente está segada. El área cubierta de hierba se encuentra con un pasaje de concreto debajo del puente que continúa al otro lado.

Palm City Bridge
The weather is bleak. The day started out cold and windy. Then it began to rain. It’s too dreary to ride my bicycle today.
I’m sharing some photos from other days of my bete noire, the steep Palm City Bridge that crosses the south fork of the St. Lucie River on Martin Downs Boulevard (714). I walk/ride my bike across this bridge on the northern side to use the safe walkway.
On the eastern side of the bridge, there is a way to cross under it to evade the Martin Downs Boulevard traffic. On one side you have to walk through grass that might be muddy if it has rained recently, but the grass is usually mowed. The grassy area runs into a concrete sidewalk under the bridge that continues along the other side.
I’m including a photo of the Palm City Bridge that can be seen in the distance taken from the Veterans Memorial Bridge.
