Dirt Road Ride With Airless Tires

I decided to ride down the dirt road that runs along a high school to see how the airless tires on my bike would perform. Panda, my Gotham7 Citizen Bike, isn’t designed for off-road riding.

I soon forgot to think about the road as I came across some huge turkey vultures. One of them held his ground until I was very close before flying off. A little further along the path I heard the persistent cock-a-doodle-doo crowing from a rooster, one of my favorite sounds.

All too soon I was back on a sidewalk alongside a heavily traveled paved road. This short trail has given me a bit of confidence to try other moderate off payment rides I might come across.
